It is prudent to assume that anything that is done on the internet can be monitored.

SECURE SUBMISSION
It is recommended that Anyone wishing to register their persona with the World Superhero Registry submit their application in the following manner.
♦ Submit your data on a CD, floppy disk or thumb drive mailed to the address provided.
♦ Buy the storage medium you use with cash, preferably during a sale.
♦ Never touch the storage medium unless you are wearing thick gloves.
♦ Do not allow any dust particles, stray hairs, or other debris to come in contact with the storage medium.
♦ In order to ship your submission to us, use brand new envelopes purchased with cash. Do not touch the envelopes at any time unless you are wearing thick gloves. Do not allow stray hairs or other debris to adhere to the adhesive flap, or be trapped inside the envelope. Do not use stamps that have to be licked. Do not use envelopes that have to be licked. Do not touch the stamps unless wearing thick gloves. Do not allow hair or debris to be trapped between the stamp and the envelope.
♦ When addressing the envelope, do not write the address by hand. Do not include a return address.
♦ Deposit your application in a mailbox as far from your potential area of operation as is possible.
♦ Your application may include any or all of the following:
♦ Color photo(s) of costume & accessories.*
♦ Name of Super-hero persona.
♦ Origin story or motivation.
♦ General region of operation: Country or state.
♦ Crime-fighting stories.
♦ An application fee is no longer required, and all previous fees have been refunded.
♦ To prevent imposters from vandalizing your profile, it is recommended that applicants create and include a twelve-digit code to be used on all future correspondence regarding the persona being submitted for consideration. It must contain letters, numbers and symbols, and should not have consecutive repeating numbers, letters, or symbols. IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THIS SECURITY STRATEGY DO NOT MISPLACE THIS CODE ! We will only accept future modifications to your profile from you if this code is included with future correspondence!
♦ Updates to your profile should also follow these guidelines.

* Photos may not show the bare face of the applicant, unless he or she has gone completely public with his identity and this can be confirmed via a reputable news source. All others must have their facial features concealed.

Updates will be done as time permits, but at least once a month, unless there are no acceptable submissions within that timeframe.
All submissions will be screened for potential booby traps such as contact poison and letter bombs. Data will be screened for viruses by an isolated computer.
Only credible, confirmed active Real-Life Superheroes will be added!
